經過第1期開發建置及2~5期之系統維運，目前已介接1750多個政府機關使用XML-Box前置處理器，9個自建交換中心介接15個XML-Gateway閘道系統，整體共計介接7萬3千多個機關單位參與公文電子交換作業，截至最近的統計，現在每月使用公文電子交換的數量已經高達每月170多萬份公文，平均每個工作日約有9~10萬份公文。而各自建中心並利用現有建設基礎向外拓展與推廣，積極朝向G2B與G2C的目標努力，目前已陸續導入約500個工商及財團法人進行公文電子交換機制。目前電子公文交換架構如圖五所示。
